ST. ALOYSIUS SEN. SEC. SCHOOL, RIMJHA, JABALPUR
Founded in 1869, St. Aloysius School has served the people of Jabalpur over 140 years. To meet the ongoing demand for quality Aloysian education a branch of St. Aloysius was founded at Rimjha on July 3, 2002.
2002- January the first batch of 80 students for LKG, UKG and Class I selected and admitted at the main school, Sadar. On July 3rd 2002, St. Aloysius School, Rimjha was opened at Rimjha in a rented premise at 9.00 A.M. but the classes began on 4th July 2002 at Sadar School. On September 30th 2002, the School shifted to Rimjha to the new premises as the construction of the School building progressed.
2003-Classes 2nd to 7th opened in view for CBSE affiliation with tremendous response from the people.
2004-The School opened 8th and 9th classes in July 2004.
2005-Class 10th opened in July 2005.
2006-The first batch of 10th class students appeared for Board exam bringing excellent results. On December 19th 2006, CBSE team inspects the school.
2007-The School gets CBSE affiliation on April 3rd 2007. The school opens 11th class in Maths, Science and Commerce.
2008-School applies for Senior Secondary affiliation from CBSE in June. Inspection team visits the school on 12th Dec. 2008 for Senior Secondary affiliation.
2009-The first batch of 10th students appear for Board Examination from this School after affilliation. The first batch of 12th class students appear for Board Examination. On April 1st 2009, St. Aloysius Sec. School, Rimjha gets CBSE affiliation for Senior Secondary Classes.
2010-On 15th Jan. 2010, St. Aloysius Sr. School building was inaugrated and blessed by Bishop Gerald Almeida.
2011-The first batch of 12th Students from this School appear for CBSE Board Exam in March. School makes advancement towards technology based education with E-learning and Multimedia auditorium. IP and Biology introduced at Senior Secondary level.
2012-Introduction of Scout and Guide, Smart class VI - XII (21 Rooms), Hindi introduced as an additional subject at Senior Secondary level.
2013-Physical Education as additional subject. Fitness Centre established. Introduction of Red Cross.
2014-All class rooms from LKG-XII are Smart Class Rooms.
2015-Htdraulic lift installed.
2016-Branch of St. Aloysius Kindergarten and Primary School at Panagar.
